Most likely you have been to our Drift Xpress, Drift Xtreme or even Drift Xperience programs that we offer! For most people getting into the sport of drifting, it’s only natural that you will need to buy your own drift car, so that you can attend practice days like our Nishi-D events or other local meets.
Getting seat time at practice events is great, as drifting is more about actually doing it rather than reading, writing, watching or listening. However, a lot of the time when you rock up at your first few events, there’s most likely at least 40 other drivers and their cars attending, things get a little bit chaotic and as much as you want to take the time to practice technique and remember what you learnt at Drift School, you end up doing whatever it takes to stop yourself spinning out, or messing up a corner due to other cars behind you and even because of all the spectators. This ultimately is promoting the use of bad habits, and not truly driving in a way that will help you improve quickly.

We have Drift Xcelerate, where you can learn with other students on a technical drift course. This program is designed with price in mind and keeping costs low whilst still providing a very solid amount of track time. For $199 you can be coached by an expert instructor in your car non-stop for 1 hour and 30 minutes!
If you’re a real serious drifter, then we also have Drift Xpert, the entire drift course to yourself with an instructor for a massive 3 hour session. No one else on track except you, your car and a professional instructor. In this program we can work on absolutely any skill or specific technique to get the most out of your next track day or competition.

The benefit of joining our BYO driving programs is the constant repetition of an exercise in a relaxed environment catered to learning whilst having a fun time. You’ll be surprised what you can accomplish by doing it over and over again, under the supervision of an instructor to make adjustments to many variables like steering, throttle, clutch, braking, speed, line and angle!
The key is to maximise your time on a practice event by employing the techniques that you’ve learnt in Drift Xcelerate or Drift Xpert, progressing you at a much faster rate, rather than entering every practice day you can, and not figuring out what you’re doing wrong, which at the end of the day, will cost you more in the long run.
